We have been providing funerals by scattering cremains in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of South Florida, including Miami, Miami Beach, Surfside, Bal Harbor, Hallandale, Hollywood and Sunny Isles.

The Process of Our Funerals at Sea
Our goal is to help you find final closure for your loved ones and make it a pleasant and memorable experience. We depart by boat from Haulover Inlet located at 108th Street and Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. As the family of the departed, you can choose to express memorial words or have Captain Dawn recite them while the ashes are being scattered at sea. Accreditation
Capt. Dawn’s New Choice Burials is permitted through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of the Federal Government. All documentation required by the EPA will be filed by Capt. Dawn to ensure compliance and the legitimacy of our services.
You will be provided a certificate of "Scattering of the Ashes" which will include the date, latitude, and longitude of the final resting place signed by the captain.
